How to make a location QR code
- Choose "Map link" and paste a share link from Google Maps (or another maps service) — this works on the widest range of phones.
- Or choose "Coordinates" and enter the exact latitude and longitude, useful for a gate, loading bay or spot without an address.
- Download the code and add it to flyers, invitations, delivery notes or your shop window.
Which option should I use?
- Map links open in the browser or maps app on almost every phone, and can point to your business listing with reviews and opening hours.
- Coordinates are stored as a geo: link. Most Android phones open these in a maps app, but some iPhone cameras don't — prefer a map link when in doubt.
Printing codes on products you sell? A standard QR code can be copied by anyone. Secure QR codes are issued per product and verified live, so copies get flagged.
