No. A QR code made here is just an image encoding whatever text you entered (a URL, Wi-Fi details, a contact card, etc.) — it works for as long as the content it points to (like a web page) stays valid. Qrauthix's own product-authentication QR codes support an optional expiry; this free generator does not.
This free tool generates a standard QR code from whatever you type — anyone can read it with any scanner. Qrauthix's Simple and Secure QR codes are different: they're issued against a real product record and verified live against Qrauthix's database, with Secure QR additionally requiring the Qrauthix mobile app and a one-time challenge, so it never verifies in a plain browser and repeated scans of a copied code get flagged.
Yes, there are no usage restrictions on QR codes created with this tool.
No. Generation, customization, and every download happen entirely in your browser — the content you type (a Wi-Fi password, a phone number, an address) never reaches our servers. When you download, print, copy, or share a code, we log which QR type was used along with your IP address and browser user agent, for our own usage analytics. Nothing you typed is included.
